Tough Titties Club is created by Claudia Chow to fill the gap in breast scan patient care.
Information provided about breast imaging exams and biopsies are often minimal. Unless the patient has a breast cancer team, there is no mental health support. Negative experiences with breast imaging exams and biopsies can create anticipatory anxiety and reduce rate of follow-up exams.
The site’s mission is to provide medically-vetted support before, during, and after scans to increase patient engagement, thus improving early detection of breast cancer & recurrence.
